The post and panel bookcase is my newest bookcase design and was originally made as a custom piece for a long-time customer's home office. The original bookcase was only 30" wide which is a bit narrower than what would be a "normal" width. The prices given are for a 36" wide bookcase but we can adjust the width (and height and depth) to suit your needs.

All shelves are adjustable with inconspicuous brass pins in 1/4" holes. For the sake of economy as well as strength I use 1/2" cherry, mape or oak veneer plywood for the backs of these bookcases. All other parts are made of solid wood. If you prefer a solid wood frame and panel back we can do that for an extra charge. My post and panel bookcase ships by blanket wrapped delivery to the 48 contiguous states and by common carrier freight outside of this area. Please call or email for a shipping quote.

Bookcases include the indicated number of adjustable shelves. Additional adjustable shelves may be ordered for $150 each.

All post and panel bookcases are built to order so we can easily customize this piece to suit your needs. Minor changes in dimensions often add little or nothing to the cost. Custom woods or a combination of woods is also easily done. Call or email for a quote on customizing this piece.
