Arched Mission Platform Bed

My arched mission platform bed was designed for a customer who wanted my platform bed but with a headboard like my Mission bed with an arched top. It's a great example of how my furniture can be customized.

As with all my beds this bed can be modified to accept a mattress and boxspring. When you order your bed we'll ask for the thickness of your mattress or mattress and boxspring and adjust the bed accordingly. You can also specify how high you'd like the top of the mattress to be. Shipping
Twin and Full sizes of this bed can ship by UPS. Queen and king sizes ship by blanket wrapped delivery to the 48 contiguous states and by common carrier freight outside of this area. Please call or email for a shipping quote.

Bed Height: Overall bed height will depend on the thickness of your mattress (or mattress & boxspring). We will place the bottom of the headboard 2" above the top of your mattress. The height to the top of the headboard will be 16" above the top of your mattress for twin, full, and queen beds and 18" above the top of the mattress for king and California king beds. We can also adjust the height from the floor to the bottom of the bed rails (12" in the above photo) which affects the height to the top of your mattress.

The inside dimensions of the bed frame are 1" longer and wider than the standard mattress size to allow for bedding.

The base prices for arched mission platform beds are cherry, maple or oak and include a slatted hardwood platform for your mattress. No box spring is required. If you would prefer to use a box spring we can supply angle iron supports rather than slats. King size beds also include a center support beam and post.

The following optional items are available:

All beds are built to order so that the headboard can be placed at the correct height in relation to the top of your mattress. When we receive your order we will contact you to get the thickness of your mattress or mattress and box spring. If you will be purchasing a new mattress but haven't picked it out yet please don't let that keep you from ordering your bed now. We typically have an 12-16 week backlog so you'll have at least a few weeks to get your mattress dimensions to us. Placing your order right away will get your bed in our production schedule while you pick out a mattress. All types of mattresses can be used on our beds.
