About Our Dressers

All of our dresser are built from solid hardwoods using traditional, time-tested joinery. These pieces are built to last several lifetimes. All dressers have the following construction features:

100% solid hardwood construction. Available in solid cherry, maple, oak, walnut and mahogany (see wood choices). Cherry means solid cherry not cherry veneer on particleboard or a "cherry finish" on a cheaper wood.

All dressers are built to order so customizing dimensions and layout is easily done.

Cases are constructed using dovetail, and mortise & tenon joinery

Drawers are dovetailed front and back. Drawer interior parts are solid ash or maple with solid wood bottom not plywood

Case backs are 3/4" shiplapped pine or frame & panel primary wood

Shaker dressers available with 3 base styles: angled, arched & mitered

Choice of flush or lipped drawer fronts
