This desk is for those who really like to spread out. The main desk is 76"l x 34"d and the return is 36"l x 24"d. This desk was originally made as one of 13 desks I made for the Deans' suite of the Vermont Law School. There were no drawers in the original desks as they were going to be used with separate file drawer units under the desk along with a pull out keyboard shelf. Because each of these desks was used with one end against a wall they only had one end paneled. Shown below is an unpaneled desk. This desk was used in a reception area where it was surrounded by low walls on three sides.

This basic desk design can be made in any number of configurations to suit your needs. Shallow drawers and/or file drawers can be added along with a pull out keyboard shelf. Desks can have no panels or be paneled on the front and one or both ends. It can be made with or without a return and the dimensions of the desk and return can be customized to suit your needs.
